Default kx500

first i wanted to say that i had read other threads on e2s that could have ben very good but some wanted to fight with others and modertors i feel they create there own problems as i have been treated very nicely by all old or new now about nology coil and wire i like the idea and parts we notice that it made best power at.030 gap feel off at .035 gap and droped off .020 gap with ngk b9es and felt very responsive off idle now that you mention it stewart

Default lead fouling

looking for input i noticed on my kx bike after 2 hours on dyno or riding the it would develop a misfire under high load but it will great you can put a new b9es plug in same as old and runs great again b9es the old plug looks perfect the fuel i am running is 118 octane and has 6 grams of lead per gallon i read an old air craft book that said they had high and low lead fuels and that they would have to change plugs more often if ahigher lead content was used than a givin comp i dont know if thats what im having happen or my 30 gap is to much for my ignition thanks stewart

i think your going to find that the hotter coil /radical engine mods wil lactually start to erode the electrodes on standard plugs ,to remedy this ,yo u wil l need to run better platinum plugs with superior materials so this doesnt happen and gap it the same .. yo umay want to try a B9EGV and youll see how much better they are ,standard plugs are for standard bikes IMO
