Default Rim interchanges

I have a 86 lt 50 for my son and it has tube tires. I was wondering if there are any tubeless rims that interchange with this bolt pattern or if I should weld the two halves together and use a tubeless tire.

Why not stay with tubes? They make them really heavy duty now with green slime in them if you're worried about punctures.

I need to buy to new tires anyway and thought that the tubeless would hold up better. I've gone through a set of tubes already and now need to look at longevity so the boy won't get so pissed. he hates that he needs new tires and can't ride
