Question Looking to buy

A kid Quad for a 8 year old. Any suggestions? I don't want to buy the raptor 50 or 80 because of the crappy suspension. I have been looking at the Xtreme 100 not sure if that will be to big for him or not.

Thanks

The Xtreme is the way to go for sure. I just became an Xtreme dealer so I can cut you a really good deal on one. I researched everything before I picked up that line and it is the best on the market for sure. Give me a call if you are interested or just need info. I also offer hop up kits for them if you want to put the little guy on the race track in a couple of years.

Default kid quad

you really can't go wrong with the LT80 it's tried and true.plus when the litle guy needs a little more it doesn't mean another quad. they make all kinds of aftermarket parts for them

Awesome Thanks guys. I have been looking at the Xtreme line I was thinking about getting a Pit Pro for myself and a Tantrum 100 for my girlfriends son. He is only 8 but I want to get him something he can grow into. I might just wait and get him a blaster.

The pit pro bikes are awesome. For the ATVs, the xtreme pro 100 is the best on the market right now. It has features and upgrades that no one else in the market can match. I used to be an LT80 fan and have built a ton of them but lets face it, that machine is very outdated.

i'll agree with you on the outdated part but it's still tried and true. i haven't seen the extreme's actually i've never even heard of them before. being that i don't have kids i really have never looked at the 80-100cc quads.

I attended a race last Sunday at Montrose MX facility here in NC and watched a friend's 8 yr old som take two 3rd place finishes on his 04 Extreme 100.

This was his first time racing. The track is really sandy, banked corners, and overall the track is pretty challenging for the very young riders on quads. The Extreme has good power and stock 2 weeks old handled the track real nice.

Nothin like seeing a the young riders holding a trophy that's 2/3rds their height either!

My 3 yr old son rides a DINLI 502 that I bought new at Christmas. Since then all I have had to do is put gas in it. I shopped around a little and bought the DINLI because it had the remote kill switch that looks like a keyless entry for a car. I have been well pleased with it. Some of the things that i like about it are: Electric start, Automatic electric choke and good looking Maxxis tires. It runs well enought that I can actually ride it with my son. I weigh over 170 lbs and my son weighs around 45. I know the machine was not designed to do that, but I just thought I would mention that it is capable. We sometimes use it as a pit bike at the local motocross track. There is an ad in DIRTWHEELS that mentions performance mods for the OFFBRAND quads that are flooding the market. I paid $1399 for mine and dont feel that I got a bad deal.

The dislikes: No rear suspension, and crappy front suspension. It doesnt bother my son much, but it depends on what level of experience your rider has and what type of riding they plan to do.

I would recommend the DINLI to anyone.

I rode my cousins old Lt-80 and that thing puts out some power for such a little thing!! I weigh about 110 and my frirend who rode it also weighs about 150 and we were riding it up trails and wheeling everywhere. I really dont think there would be much of a power struggle on this quad and would be great for kids. Hope this helps.
