PW50 issues

I know its not a quad but maybe it will get some lovin in here... The PW won't start it is a 92, I just rebuilt the top end on it. It has great compression, and spark, but it is not getting any fuel. It gets fuel into the carb but the carb is not letting any fuel into the combustion chamber, I have cleaned it all out and do not see anything obvious. Where do I go from here?

tap on the carb to make sure the needle and set arent stuck. spray a touch of starting fluid see if it will start then. is the plug wet.

No the plug looks like it did when I put it in. I'm at work right now but will try some starting fluid and taping on the side when I get home.

Ok i tapped on the carb a lil bit and sprayed starting fluid into it. I got it to fire up but it would not idle at all it would start up rev a couple of times and then that was it. I'm thinking maybe the reeds are screwed but I haven't pulled it apart yet to check. Any ideas?

compression check stick your finger in the hole turn it over slowly see if it has enough compression to push your finger out of the spark plug hole. the pilot jet could be plug if it wont idiol.

Oh yea the compression is there checked that while I was at it. I will check out the pilot though. Its almost like once its starts its a pain to get it to idle you have to throttle constantly and even then it doesn't want to stay running.

i would start there. i bet that some or all of the issue

I tore the carb completelt down cleaned everything up good put it back together. It still won't idle for S*** if I hold the throttle to about 1/4 it will do just fine but to just let it idle it won't do it.
