Default What to buy?

I just bought my 5 yr old boy a Kuzuma meercat 50 and it is perfect for him. Its got all the safety features and keeps the wife happy about that.
Now my 12 year old daughter wants a quad. the 50 is just way to small. What size should I start her on? I wish I could just start her on a blaster but that would be a bit to advanced for her. Anyone been through this? I was even thinking maybe a older 200sx or 185 quadrunner. I don't want to spend more than a 1000 so new ones are out.

Yeah, I'd like to get her a Blaster, however I don't think the wife is going for it. Anyone have any luck with the Chinese quads like a wilderness? I can buy those for a 1000.

those china bikes are not that bad, that is untill they break. They are a nightmare to find parts to repair them.

Those jap quads are no good. We had one and a friend bought one as well. Junk!!!
Maybe if they had good suspensions then they wouldn't rattle to pieces.
Buy the Blaster and tell the wife it's an offbrand 125cc quad lol..
I got my daughter the blaster, she's 10.. I know it's alot for her but she's patient and a good learner.
She can kick it over while holding the clutch & dumps it on 2nd, that's the only gear she's allowed to ride.
She'll eventually grow into it & I'll never have to buy her another quad.

Yea I gotta agree with climb on this one. I think at 12 she
should be more than able to handle a blaster. My old man
started me and my bro on an atc 200x when we were that
age...with in a few months we had to upgrade to an atc 250r
because the 200x didnt have enough power haha. Take a
look at the pics of the Blaster that climb got his daughter,
he recently installed 18 in rear tires on the back. Thats a
perfect way to lower the bike an add stability. Just some food
for thought...

DO NOT BUY THE JAP QUADS!!!!!
