 need some advice from someone who knows wat there talkin about Well i have zero knowledge when it comes 2 ktm's other than the have 2 wheels lol. A buddy i work with has a kid that has a sx(i think, not sure)125 that he said he wanted too get rid of. its a 2004 that is filtered and piped. he said 1,200 bucks and its mine. is it worth it and would the power be adequate for a 180lb 5'10 guy?O yeah im gonna be ridin some fast fire roads. is this the bike for me? thanks

| 125's are fun for track riding... but they lack top end.. they will probably do upper 50's lower 60's wide open... i think a 250 would be best for what your talking for riding.. you could always gear a 125 to go faster but i don't think it would be as much fun... you will always get left in the dust... there not designed to cruise along it's either balls to the walls or not at all

| I would definately say go with a 250 as well, but.........that is a killer price on that bike, I would check it out and make sure that it is clean, and then buy it, around here that same bike would go for over $2500 easily. KTM makes the best bikes IMO.

| yeah i checked t out and it dosnt look like hes rode it for a year. I couldnt find anything wrong on the bike so i might do as you suggested and resell it. thanks for the suggestions
