My son is racing a 65sx for the next two years; any suggestions for pipe, reeds, pistons?

Pro circuit Pipe and R304 shorty.

Vforce 3 reeds, (what years is it? the newer ones already come stock with boyesen rad valves.

for a piston you can go exotic and get a PC high compression piston or just a wiseco. both work great!

BTW were are ya in minnesota? he'll be racing district 23 i assume?

Thanks for the info!! Yes He's racing district 23. He's racing 65 7-9 this year. Next year he'll race 10-12. The bike is a '04; but it was a "yard" bike for two years. This winter I wanted to "wake up" the bike a little. He's still rolling doubles, but gets better/braver with every practice or race he goes to. My oldest son (16) races 250 novice in Temechula Ca., so he wants to be like his older brother.

Does this 65 come with FMF pipes and Boysen reeds? I heard from a couple of customers at Larson cycles that some did?

the new KTM's come with boyesen Rad valves on them. you ever make it up to brookston or race locally?

We made it to Brookstone once this year. Will be a Mora the 8th of Sept.. This is our first year of racing, so we're going slow. We live in East Bethel, so we try to hit the tracks around here. Next year, if he wants to race again again, we'll hit more tracks.
