the ktm comes with v-force 3 reeds,fmf factory pipe and aluminum fmf silencer, excel rims, adjustable cdi ignition with 2 settings smooth and race, and the 250sx comes with this nifty little powervalve adjuster where you put different springs in the engine to gain more power or make it have less power...if you want one hell of a bike id suggest any ktm cause even the 4-strokes are superior to any jap. bike...they have the least restricted engines and on their new 525 quad it puts out a whopping 53 h.p stock...but with a 8,900$ price tag a lot of them wont be bought but if u look at it this way it comes race ready with ohlins gas shocks with 11 inches of travel all around, tether kill switch, adjustable cdi, razr tires, adjustable rear axle, raised lower a-arms, hydraulic clutch, aluminum racing exhaust, and a lot of other goodies i cant think of right now...but ktm is way ahead of anything else out there 2 and 4 stroke i would definately invest in a ktm because if u think about it you buy a crappy jap. bike and put lots of money into it setting it up for racing and ktm's come stock mx ready and btw their suspension doesnt suck and it never did...
picked up a 250sx today, been savin for awhile, takin it to tha track tommorow to see how it performs

Ski-doo is at the top of the 2 stroke chain look at how hi tech there 1000R SDI motors are.
KTM's are great as hell also but they don't make the giant injection pingers.
htere 800r motors are so sick they put out 160hp stock from a 2 cylinder 780cc 2 stroke, the 1000 sdi is still good but with a 2 cylinder 1000 it puts out 171 hp stock, that 800r i hear you can bring up to somethin like 250 and still have it be a trail ridable motor, and there newest sleds only weigh the about 20 lbs more than a stock banshee, and obviously that can come down to about the stock wieght of a shee, so they fuckin rip

KTM 4 strokes have the worst suspension ever, try going through the whoops on one and you'll see what i mean, they are more worried about their 2 strokes if u ask me, thats were their putting there R&D at and thank god for it
1 question if KTM's were so good, why did grant langston on his yami 450F win the MX national championship and not Mike alessi?

the rider wins the race, not the bike. On such a high level, arent they all riding bikes with god knows how much aftermarket stuff on them?
I like what i've read about that ktm. I wonder how it would perform to my yz250. although i dont care to buy a brand new dirtbike for no telling how much
