03 KTM 250SX?? how fast???

Ok Im buyin a 03 250SX from a friend, it has some motor work, new top end... ported and polished, tuned for motocross, and some other stuff,

how fast do you think the bike will be??? and I've had a Banshee but never a 2 stroke bike, is it way to much bike???, will it be able to hand with my friends 05 RM250???

the ktm's are fast, with porting and tuned for motocrass this bike should take a stock rm250, the suspention on a ktm isn't quite as good but the bike should be fast.

Its got aftermarket suspension, but all my friends are saying they suck... just curious... they said a 2005 RM250 is way faster than my bike is ever gonna be???

dont really know cuz im too young and to short to acually ride one but ive heard that they are monsters so ull have to see if it is

If your gonna drag race all day get a cr500 or something. You wont notice the difference in the 5 miles an hour faster that a rm might be if your riding trails all day or whatever you ride. If its a pretty much stock bike with aftermarket suspension (ktms weak point stock) then youll probably be doing as good or better depending on your riding ability than a stock/light modded rm or whatever. If the bike is stock throw a set of veforce3 reeds (everyone is going to say g3s but i know a kid that has g3s on a ktm250 and he says they arent as good as the boysens or veforces) and a pro circut platnum pipe and r304 shorty silencer on it and youll have a really solid, dependable, smooth, snappy bike. Id say get it youll be more than happy especially because of the aftermarket suspension if its any good.
