| Line the shiftshaft center teeth with the center teeth on the cam gear. That way there are enough teeth to work in both directions. Pretty much the same on all similar machines. The spring arms should just snap in place on either side of the retainer pin. You might need a couple pounds of pressure to push the spring into place, but thats about it. |

| yea I know that part, but I dont know which slot to put the little piece in the shift drum. I have it in neutral, but like I just dont know where to start at cause you can put the little cam piece in any way.

| I think I got it figured out now, but I got one more simple question. Is this thing a 5 speed or 6 speed? cause I have it shifting but I can only go from 1st to 5th gear with it.

| You mean the shift forks onto the drum? It really shouldn't matter. As long as the forks are in their proper places on the gear shafts, then no mater how you put the drum in, everything should line up eventually with a little fiddling. You'll have to slide the gears back and forth to get the forks to line up with the grooves in the drum. Or more easily turn the drum till they line up.
