| Hey I just bought a pair of rarzrs for my rear. but the company shipped the tires w\o a box. they just taped them together and shipped them. the middles of the tires were pushed in because of it. now when I tried to put the tires on, They dont make a bead. i got the old ones off and the new ones on the rim. but i cant put air in them, the rim of the tire catchs the rim and starts to make a bead but then all the air just blows out. this never happened to me and the weekend starts tommorow so please help me so i can go ridding this weekend..thanksss |

| put a rachet strap in the middle of the tire. that will buldge the beads towards the rim. it pulls down on the middle of the tire and pushes the outside out. it also helps when seating the beads. |

| If you still have no luck with these tricks....Go to TSC or a hardware store and buy an inner tube thats about the same size as the tire, take the tire back OFF the wheel (yes pain in the ass but trust me here) put the inner tube inside the tire and air it up so that the beads get blown out. Sit the tire out in the sun for a few hours. come back in a few hours and remount the tire and the beads will seat. You gotta be quick though. You can re-use that tube if you ever need it again

| Yeah if he takes it to a tire shop hes probably gonna see the big air bomb method, the gas method really isnt used anymore. The ratchet deal is a good idea but seldomly ever worked for me on anything I ever used. I hate when they send tires like that, also make sure when you are air up your tires that you have the valve stem taken out, you would be suprised how much air the stem restricts when seating the bead on a tire. Anyway good luck man. |

| In my experience, starting fluid works better than gas, but I don't like doing it either way. Lose your arm hair every time, but it does work.

Try loosing a finger! At a riding event I saw a guy use starting fluid and a bic lighter. When the fumes ignighted the tire bounced off the ground and caught the tip of his finger. It beaded up on his finger, Screemed bloody murder!!! And the finger was tore up to say the least. It works, Ive done it but always use something LONG to to light it, and dont get to carried away with the fluid cause u can actually blow the tire apart. Its much more unstable than gas! dub

| Starting fluid, but it sounds like most of the people on here dont do it the safe way, you have to make a trail with it. Ive done it flawlessly dozens of times. |

| Ive had this problem before. The tie down strap idea works if you use grease but its still a HUGE fight if they are really bad. Just use gas and a stick with a thing at the end. I only used a 16oz coke bottle CAP of gas and it blew on the tire and was perfect.
