Default Need 85-86 Running 250

Long story short I tore up the engine on my 86 LT250R and it will probably be cheaper if I just bought another one.

I was wondering if anyone had a running engine that they want to get rid of? Let me know. I would like to stick with an 85 or 86 if at all possible.

Thanks

I have an 86 engine that is complete . It needs new piston and rings, Has a brand new ricky stator,The bike ran good when i first got it then the stator went out, I replaced it and then it was hard to start and smoked alot when it did start. So its just been sitting. I will sell the engine for $350. if interrested.

My shop partner has one for $350 as well. I know the bottom is in great shape and the cylinder is decent. You'd need a piston and ring set and POSSIBLE bore (I havent measured it). I can look into it if you want.
