looks like an 85 or 86 from the seat and that would explain the 5 speed is the axel carrier round or boxed in

thats a 85-86 lt250r. thats why its a 5 speed. when you get another kicker, put a bolt and washer with red loctite, in the kicker shaft to keep it on.

barnett sells a good clutch for it.

85 or 86 model and get ready for some sticker shock.

If you do the clutch w/ springs, basket and all with labor about $600.00.

By the way it looks it could be alot more, this quad looks like it has been abused.

So get ready to sink in some money! Don't worry about it we have all done it!

sticker shock? whats that? also i am going to do the clutch my self, not have some one else do it. the top end was recently rebuilt, and was all just repainted but crapy!. actully it wasnt abused as much as u think. it was just riden like they were ment to be, lol. and u got to rember the thing is 22 years old!!!the previos owner had the throtle wide open in 3rd gear and the throtle stuck on him and he lost control and he hit a parked car. and completly messed the frame up. i have pics of it in my other thred. yea i do plan on putting money into it, its why i got it. actully the head is getting milled down 20 thousandths and its getting ported and polished as well. it will cost me about 200 for all of that. and then im getting the fly wheel lightend as well thats abouther 40 and i have a frame coming for 100. O! and i have a 12 tooth flywheel is that stock? but its totaly worth it when i get it all back together and running again, its a blast!!!!

I do not know who you think you are fooling but you are not fooling me! That quad is a basket case. It needs a complete overhaul. We have (2) lt's that are raced weekly and they do not look that bad.

I am not down grading that quad at all, We have all seen basket cases turned into really nice quads but just understand that you will spend about 2000.00 on this quad just to make it fairly nice! and then you could put 700.00 into the bottom end of that engine without blinking.

Take a look at this if you do not believe me. http://forums.everything2stroke.com/...ottom-end.html
