| Ok here is the problem. I had my engine bored new piston rings gaskets ect. I also had a new stator and flywheel put on along with a water pump gear and pin at a local shop. the cases wern't split but both side covers were off and clutch was taken out and put back in not replaced. I put the engine back in the quad myself and I went to hook the clutch cable up and I pulled the lever and clutch had little pull back or spring. so I disconected the clutch cable and was working the lever on top of the case back and forth and now the clutch has no spring what so ever. I now can move the lever on top of the case back and fortn 3/4 of a inch with no spring. what does this mean? Do I have to change the clutch plates? Can this be done without removing the engine? Any help would be greatly apreciated. |
