im glad to hear im not the only one who broke that mount.

Now how many of you broke it due to the carrier bearings going out?

Couldnt tell ya mine was like that when I got it, but considering the condition the swinger was in I'd say thats a pretty good possibility

i got an 86 couple months back. previous owner rebuilt the top end and water pump. took it for a ride and coolant is coming out of the crank breather. so i guess he messed up something on the water pump. the bike is all stock with a dg slip on. the only quad that i have owned is a blaster and i love riding this 250. completely a different bike.

I have a 86 lt250r.Its got a .20 weisco, head milled .015"(made a world of difference!)Complete cobra exhaust(twice the size of fmf junk!)boydsens,34mm carb off 88 lt250r,uni clamp on,complete frame off resto last year, needs carriar bearings due to chain being too tight.

The downfall to the 85-86 is the swingarm. They always break and im sure yours has been welded once or twice.
