what year of jug do i have??

i just recently got a bike with a extra jug but it doesnt match the one on the bike.... the spare one has 6 bolts with a super big intake an the one on the bike now has a 6 bolt with the smaller intake reed which would fit in my lt500 any help would be appreciated

from the pictures it hard to tell but iwould say 87 or newer

i know the big intake was only an 87 model on the 250..im pretty sure this is the same with the 500's.almost possitive.
