| i got a 92 lt250r has this problem before it was rebuilt but thought it was low compression. has been freshly rebuilt. starts and idles great. run from idle to half throttle good. with more low end power than i expected. but when it hit around half throttle it jsut sits there kinda bogs a little and will NOT rev any higher. took apart the powervalves cleaned them when rebuild and the open and closes easily. as i said it ran like this before the rebuild. any ideas on where to start? need to determine if it is electrical or mechanical and what? any help would be aprriciated. thank you, Larry p.s. also carb has been rebuild and cleaned and i believe float hieght set, i put the project away last fall and need to get it running right. | i have a v force 2 reed cage and new fmf exahust. i have tried the jetting at all different clips on needle and different jet right now it is back to stock. i have tried all the way up to 300 main jet. that is what was in it when i got it. which is 270, 280 or something around there. |

| What does the plug look like? Which carb are you running? Did you put fresh gas in it? What ratio are you running? It sounds like its letting way to much fuel in.

| im running the stock carb, the plugs look brown to slightly blackish. 32 to 1 maxima super m gas is fresh. i should go leaner that stock should i? |

| i have tried the jetting from stock to up to the 300 main, and i cant get it to rev any more than half throttle. the rpms just seem to stop. i have a couple of suzuki rm's. i know there are a little different but i know how the lt250r roughly should run. |

| Are the stator lines marked up correctly so the timing is in the right spot. Is the power vavle actually moving when you rev the engine, as seen through the little window? Anything obstructing airflow into or out of the motor, dirty filter, pinched induction tube, anything. I run a stock 260 main in my 92 with a FMF pipe, silencer, and boysen reads at 32:1 Amsoil Domonator. Mine is the oposite, lazy down low and it hits like a rocket up top. I leave it a tad fat but I think I could actually go to a 240-250 main with no problems.

| i will have to check the stator lines and marks for timimg. will the manual tell you how or you have and sugggestions, and i will have to check the sight window for the powervalve rod is moving. airflow seems fine, new fillter. |

| there is a line on the stator, and a line on the case, they just need to line up then you tighten down the three screws. Not sure if you can see it with the flywheel on or not. Mine was off a good bit when I bought it and it didn't seem to make much difference but it's just something I would eliminate as a possiblity.
