Default what size sprockets should i run

ok heres the problem. i got my bike tuned right finally after a year of riding it with a bad tune. Now i run out of gear like 5 seconds into 5th maybe less, and everybody just blows by me. Launching im killing all my boys raptor, banshee(mildly built), 250r(stockish), ltr450. pullin good thru all gears till i hit 5th and run out of gear. I know the banshee will ALWAYS pull me at the end. their always askin me if i let off???
So what sprocket gears should i run?

you cant have it all when it comes to gearing
you got to find a median you are happy with, you can go up on the front or down on the rear and have the top end to hang with the rest of them at high speed,if you have the power to pull the gearing, but then your low end will suffer and youll be behind from the beginning and never catch up. i dont know whats done to your bike but to hang with banshees and new 450s and all that on a 250 racer you will need some taller gearing from the sounds of it, and more importantly the power to pull the gearing, you could always throw on 1 tooth bigger front and see how it works, rmatv sells primary drive front steel sprockets for like $8

good question i dont know. the tranny and all the sprockets are factory stock

umm well thats not helping umm look on the side of the bak sproket and ull see a # telling you how big it is(how many teeth) then just go from there if u want more top speed go DOWNSIZE the sproket and for a better take off add more gearing ect

i went to a 13 front n stayed 42 rear...it should help you out on the top end...but as said by wacko you might not have the power to catch back up...
