 LT250r added to the stable My friend bought this LT250r a few weekends ago as an extra bike to take out riding. Last weekend we were going for a ride in Florence OR and he hopped on it to take it for its first test ride. He learned quickly that he is not a 2 stroke kind of guy. I got the pleasure of riding it the whole weekend and pretty much fell in love with it. So, when he said he wanted to get rid of it, I said I wanted to buy it. The person he bought it from said it has a 310 in it, but after riding it and being able to compare it to my TRX 250r I woudln't go as far as a 310 but I'd say it has more than 250. So not now, but soon I will take the head off and measure to see what its got. Has works shocks on the front, FMF pipe and K&N filter w/o airbox. It runs as good as it looks. Nothing like a 2 day test ride to decide if you want to buy something or not.

| I'm gonna see about replacing the black tank cover with silver, just because where the front pieces line up the holes were drilled too big so the top front piece isn't sitting where its supposed to on the actual front grill.....that way it'd all be purple and silver with a black and purple seat. I dunno, just a thought for now. a new name? why....do you have a suggestion? lol..be nice!

| Very nice ride!!! I'm guessing by your reply above that you got a really good deal on it, I think all silver on the plastics and a purple rock ring on the rims and that would be a sexy mofo for sure!!!

| Nice 1st Generation lt250r!!! Good grab for sure, I see that your case saver is intact, Be careful to keep it that way. They did not offer a 310 kit for the 85-86 lt250rs, however In the early 90's they made a few big bore kits fot it, I dont think they went over a 300cc kit. Sweet Ride, I hope you keep it...
