Smile restore coming good

im currently restoring a 86 lt250r. i replaced all the bottom end bearings and bored it out to 71.50 i bought front to back FMF. it has boysen reeds and i think thats all. i need a shift lever though. mine isnt the right lever i dont know what its off of but its way too short and its stripped all to hell. i was just wondering if anyone has a good used not stripped or bent shift lever??? send me some pics ill give 10-15 bucks for one. also im gonna post some pics here soon of the bike. and the bike has faded yellow plastics and the guy before me has painted them black with a spray can. does anyone know if paint thinner or what will work.

well last weekend i put everything together that i could i got to take my shift rod to the local machine shop to see if they can put new splines on it. i have everything ecept for the shift rod and the clutch on the motor. ill try the paint thinner on the underneath first. i was thinking tho that a pressure washer might work good too.
