ftz lt250r

wanna know if anyone has a ftz big bore motor or knows anything about this set up i waz told they put a trx250r sleeve in your lt cylinder do some boring to the cases anyone have a layout of a trx sleeve verses a lt like a 3d diagram or fiche something i can compare port layout and so on i thanks for you help in advance

Im not sure how they do a lt but I do know from experience that FTZ makes some nice products.

I know that they have one on their site but not any info on it. Your best bet would be to contact them I would imagine... Other than that I have heard that Q over on quadracerhq.com makes on as well but I'm not too sure about one for the 85-86's seems like most of them are for 87+

ya im sure their not gonna give up any free info, Q does his own thing its called a pwc 270 hrd motor he doent do it anymore ive tried for a while so im off to find other help

you wanna put a trx sleeve i na 85-85 style jug ,its not going ot work right at all ,doesnt even make sense to try that to me ,maybe i misunderstood,a larger bore isnt going to be nigth and day better ,your lookin for power in the worng places ,porting and good supporting mods will bring it up to the level you are looking for or possibly a custom stroker crank

it will be an 87-92 cylinder ive got a 92 with an 87 cylinder ive heard do the 86rm cylinder use the lt87 intake,also put a yfz piston in it heard use a spacer plate make it a longrod ,do a Q pwc 270 hrd motor but not possible he doesnt do it anymore so i wanna try please dont quote me on these different mods im just saying the mods ive heard wish we could put all mods in one post i try and search but it wont let me says security something admin could someone please collect it all and put in a sticky thanks

If you want more power i would just send your jug and head to flotek and have him port it for you. And then i would get a pipe from ftz and bigger carb and you'll be all set...

Q still does his HRD 270 motor just PM him on QuadracerHQ.com if your really interested in it. But I think you would be alright with having Denny put an agressive port job in there along with a good pipe and carb

when i do an agressive topend style port on a 87-92 quadracer I generaly use the 86 rm port durations but luckily with the quadracers brideged design we can have much more exhaust area over the rm ...which means torque

man i tried to get the good DR Q to do me a 270 motor before he got his own site i pmed him and everything with no luck so i didnt want to bug the man so i stopped so as to not piss anyone off want all the knowledge i can get and pass on thanks
