Default Wheels and tires for a trail machine, gimme some ideas

I want to get some wheels and tires for my LT250R and am looking for some ideas. Its a trail ridden ATV and I was thinking of Holeshot tires, what size am I looking for front and rear? i also want to get some rims for it. Right now it has huge baloon fronts and real short rears and looks ridiculous, I want them to be real close to the same front and back. Post some pictures if you have any. Thanks-Dan

21x7-10 fronts, 20x10-10 or 20x11-10 rears....stay away from 18 inch rears you lose too much ground clearance. From my experience, the regular holeshots dont clean out very well in muddy applications, if your staying dry for the most part, holeshots would be good. I thought the razr's I had on my zilla worked pretty well overall. Those are both pretty pricey though. Kenda Knarly's or Klaw's are a good choice too, and a good bit cheaper. Its been a while since I've looked, but one of those required a 9 inch rear wheel, which would work just fine also if you get a matching wheel. try ATV Parts, ATV Tires, Dirt Bike Parts & Motocross Gear - Rocky Mountain ATV/MC you can get package deals there for a fair price. Try RJ ATV too, i dont know if they deal in tires or not though, they have a section in the forums here I believe

22x7-10 front, 21x11-9 Holeshot GNCC's. For me they are the best trail/racing tire for my 250r. If you want to save a little $, get 22x7-10 Maxxis Razr2's for the front and 20x11-9 Maxxis Razr's for the rear. They last a long time and have good grip on just about any surface.

ive got 22's bandits on the front, and 22's razrs on the rear, both treat me very nice for muddy/and rocky track conditions, and with 10 inch rims you can powerslide without the tire roll
