87-89 LT250R Frame Needed...

Hiya Guys,
I'm in need of an 87-89 LT250R bare frame to help mock up my latest project which is a 87 LT250 with a 87 LT500 motor for flattracking. It would really help if I had a mock-up frame to figure out motor mounts, pipe, chain alignment, etc. before I start wacking up my buddies frame.

It doesn't have to be perfect, but a nice straight one would help, just so long as it is reasonable ($150.00????) So if anyone has one just laying around, let me know, and I will document the build and post it here on this site. I know a few people have asked about this swap....... Thanks !!!

I have an extra 88 frame that is by no means perfect, but will probably fill your needs. It has damage to the bottom rails and a crack on one of the support struts up front. I'll take some pictures and PM you if you would like. Lemme know. UA

A few pics would be nice, as far as you can tell, is the frame straight? And by any chance would you have the swingarm bolt?

Hey Man, the best I can tell it is straight. The belly rails are bent flat on the bottom side and some other small bends and cracks. I was going to repair it and use it on the quad I'm building now and decided to just find another, as far as I'm concerned it can be had CHEAP and would probably suit your purpose. I'll try to get some pics to you by this weekend. Oh, and sorry but I do not have an extra swingarm bolt. Please send me a PM with your email addy if you can. Thanks, UA
