Default Will a 87 Cylinder fit an 88 bottom end?

I was just wondering if a 87 cylinder will fit an 88 lower bottome end?

i'm pretty sure..you can do it on an lt...i just think the 87 has a better intake...so i think all you have to do is have the intake boot and reeds for the 87 and your good to go....

Using a 86 Rm piston..with cut skirt to match bottom of the sleeve on intake side.

Thanks, and a head also, yeah I got extra cylinder from Dr Q just need the power valve system for it, would like to leave the one in the 88 and have one for the 87

Thats what I'm running on my 89 is an 87 cylinder and head reeds and intake also.So yes it will work as long as u have all the 87 goodies.
