| Quadzilla400ex, the differences between them are that the RJ and RK had a 43B10 carburetor, and the RL had a 43B20 carburetor, although all they changed was the overflow tubes and the location of their retaining plates on the 43B20. The RK and RL also had a completely changed front bumper, from the small tube covered in a rubber pad on RH and RJ, to a large bar design. Another change is the RJ had pearl metallic round tubing front a-arms, and the RK and RL had pure white round tubing a-arms. But the most obvious changes were in the graphics. Here are the front fender changes. The RJ had a stripe design, in two different blues. The top half was light blue and the bottom half was vivid blue. It also said "QuadRacer" in dark blue script in it's middle, and further to the front of the machine was a sticker that said "SUZUKI", also in dark blue. They all had a marble science yellow backround. The RK had 2 long stripes along the side, the upper one light blue, and the lower one vivid blue, and in the middle of them it said "SUZUKI" in pure white, the background again in marble science yellow. Beyond the rear of the stripes, it said "QuadRacer" in pure white script with a champion blue number 2 blue background. The RL had 3 stripes, 1 light blue, 1 vivid blue, and 1 marble parsec blue that were the length of the front fender, that had both "SUZUKI" in pure white and "QuadRacer" (again in script) in marble science yellow on it. Now, for the rear fender changes. The RJ had dark blue numberplates, right and left "500", light blue top and vivid blue bottom, decals and said "QuadRacer" in dark blue script on the middle of the rear deck. Both had a marble science yellow backround. The RK had black, with a backround of marble science yellow, outlined numberplates and 2 left side "500" decals, again in light blue and medium blue, shadowed by pure white, with a marble science yellow backround, instead of a left and right decal. The RL had marble parsec blue outlined numberplates, and had 3 striped left and right "500" decals, which the top was light blue, the middle was medium blue, and the bottom was marble parsec blue, again with a marble science yellow backround. And now the seats. The RJ had a jeunesse blue seat, that had "NO PASSENGER" stamped in it. The RK had the same seat, but had "QuadRacer" written in pure white script on it's rear center. The RL had again the same seat, but had "SUZUKI" written in pure white on it. And lastly, the Full Floater decals. The RJ decal had the 2 F's in philolina yellow, and the letters were outlined in ultra blue. The RK and RL had the same decal, but the letters were pure white, instead of clear. And there you have it! All of the important changes among the 3 models. Damn, that took a long time! By the way Kane, you totally stole my "Put an LT500R engine in an LT-R450 chassis" idea! I came up with that the moment I first saw that machine! Edit: I forgot pictures! Here is the RJ. Here is a RK. And here is the RL. Last edited by Kyle T; 09-27-2006 at 04:22 PM. |
