Default alcohol mixed in gas?

ive heard 2 stokes run even better when you use alcohol mixed in with the gas. does anyone know what kind of alcohol is used, in what proportion. does any mods need to be done. can this be bad for the motor? thanks

u cant do it ur self but u can by klotz gas with 25% alky,it works good u will have to rejet.if u do it urself the oil will seperate and i called klotz they will not tell there secret to make it stay together.i run it for years in my hillclimb quadzilla and never had a prob.

Alot of guys here just run racing fuel and mix it. The one other benefit of alcohol is your engine tends to run a little cooler, or at least that's what all the guys in them souped up banshees have been telling me around here. But I would just run a good racing fuel if you don't require the alcohol. I run premium and have never had any problems but alot is based on the engine and what you want?
