new zilla

my aunt just bought her 14 yar old son a zilla off ebay and is his first quad so do you guys think it too fast??? how fast are they??

there torquey beasts and for a 14 year old it might be much. when i was 14 i was only 5'1 and 90 lbs iv grown quite a bit sence then but kids grow at diferent rates. I dont see a problem with that big of a bike. I do however think that he should be careful on it the first few times and I think the best idea would be to start off on somehting a little smaller to get used to the controls before moving up to that beast. now if he was 14 and on a cr500 I could maybe see why you wouldnt want him on that. but the zilla should be a little easier to handle for the most part imo.

I agree he should be able to handle it but he should be careful ! It's a lot of bike to start off with. I'd just make sure he can start it first! Some of them can be tricky to start! Like most guys here say if you can start it you should be able to ride it. I hope he is a safe rider though!

ive been riding since i was three i went from a honda atc 70 to a mojave 250 a banshee the a zilla and a raptor and my zilla has skint my ass up before if thats his first bike you need to tell him first second and half of third gear is a skint ass from there up is a helicopter ride to town

as long as he's a safe driver shouldn't be too big. just clutch it
