I didnt say they had to bad mouth them but they certainly dont have tell him the V-force wont work good when they are the best on the market. Loren Duncan needs to pull his head out of his ass and drop the shitty Pyramid and start selling the V-force cage for a ton of money like they do everything else. I am sure they could cut some cost by deleting the production of the product and selling a much larger quantity of a much better product. I dont disagree with you buisness sense statement but I think thier whole take on the cage is not smart.

Solek,
I would hang on to the V-Force reeds for a couple of reasons. A. It gives you a spare set of reeds (They do wear out), and B. When you get the time, you could put them in to compare them to the Pyriamids. You will need to modify your intake boot to run the V-Force, not only cutting off the wings, but port matching the boot also.

You will be very happy with the Duncan motor, I know I am on my 88...... It Rips! Just be sure to follow their break-in instructions to the T.

well said ,the vforce are superior to the pyramid by far ...Just ask Loren for some dyno run charts comparing the 2 valves on a modifed motor and i gaurentee he will spit out some mumbo jumbo technical jargon instead of real proof,it seems those guys are almost as bad as CT racing when it comes to feeding their customers a line of bs

Solek,
I found Loren very honest and helpful and he does GOOD work! Yes, he is pricey, but most good builders are. I don't mind spending the money as long as what I get what's promised. I ran his pipe/silencer before I got one from the Good Doctor, and it's probably the 2nd best 500 pipe on the market (JMHO).

When I got my 88 cylinder back from him in July (National porting) and his flowed 39 PKW, I used my V-Force2 reeds, Doc's pipe/silencer, and with just one jet change....... This thing RIPS!!!

As long as you are happy, that's the main thing!!

And if you still want to sell the V-Force2's...... PM me.

Jim

Loren Duncan can and will give you a good quality built motor. I wont knock his work, its top quality and he invests quite a bit of time into compared to many on his level of the buisness. But he is way overpriced and his products are not superior. I do like his banshee pipes, the mids a lot. Not because they produce arm ripping hp but they sure to allow you to build a banshee that works pretty well everywhere. However his Pyramid cages have been proven to work sub par when compared to everything else. I know people who have ran them and went back to stockers with reeds because the Duncan cages dropped their power. I would purchase his pipes if you are looking for a trail motor, not his high rev pipes there is better out there by far. I would stay clear of the pyramids though. If you want something cheap just buy some decent reeds for the stock cages it will perform better.
