That that's one option Suzuki gave when the produced the 500. Anti theft. My friends ask me "can I ride it" I say sure but I'm not walking to wherever you stall it and kick it for you. Then they say well nevermind I won't ride it. lol. -Mark

Well guys, thanks for the encouragement and pointers. I just got home from work and I'm on my way over to get the beast, we're gonna put it in the heated workshop and get it a little warmer than 10 degrees, you guys know how much harder they start when they're that cold. talk to ya later!

Congrats on the killer ride. As for starting it the trick is to kick over slow untill you get the piston to TDC. then let the kicker back up and kick it like it just stole your girl, wrecked your car, and took your quad! I have also had better luck running the proper plug in it. NGK B8EGV just don't buy them from the bike shop cause they r like $8. I order mine from Advance Auto for like $4 each.
And remember I have the service and parts manual for it if you ever need them. GOOD LUCK!! and now I can't wait to ride with u again.

i've pretty much gotten that big f*cker whiped now haha. my boots said "hey bitch" haha. i rode it on the ice haha it was pretty cool. it's a damn nice quad. oh yeah this bitch is impossilbe to start when it's cold. i've had to pull the plug out and give it a shot of carb cleaner then it starts 2nd kick. after it's been fired once it starts first kick

You know what Spark? you hit that right on the head, we found that out the hard way tonight. it wouldn't start and wouldn't start so we pulled the plug and it was kinda wet, chris stuck a BR8ES in there cause he had one laying around (imagine that) and it ran like total garbage, so we cleaned up the B8EGV and put that back in there and it runs like a raped ape! We think there's a minor jetting issue with it cause of it being so friggin cold up here right now...you gotta shoot some carb cleaner in it to get it to start from being dead cold. Once its even the slightest bit warm it starts on 1 kick. 370 thinks is a pilot jet issue.

Anyways 370 and I had a little fun with it tonight, and I think I'm gonna like it a lot if I can keep from getting hurt, it was pulling wheelies in 2nd on iced over pavement....that could be bad news for me....that twist throttle has gotta go. =) other than that I love it
