Default Maires Plastic Question

I know Factory fits the best which is why lots of you stay with it, but some of us are looking to change things up, I myself ran Maiers for some years, yeah got some cracks but so does the factory plastic, what im wanting to ask how is the Maiers fitting? im not happy with the front hood fit, the body plastic isnt that bad of a fit, Maiers has come a long way in fit, pre drilling the holes and being shny now.
Any problems please list them.

Just baught all new maiers for my LT 250 not so happy with the fit. Factory hood didnt fit well with the front plastic's. the edges are not all cut the same, looks ok but factory would be much better. I am not sure how they compare in price, that would be my deciding factor because the maiers do serve there purpose ok but dont like them as much as factory.

heres what you need to know about maier. they will not fit like oem.
you will need to trim them a bit to get them to fit like they should.
it stinks because they arent cheap either. i have never had them fit
like they should yet, and i have bought my share of plastics.

I rember my 1st set, to fit around the tank right (HUG IT) I had to router out the plastic holes in a curve and use large fender washers under and over to keep it from moving, I hope I dont have to do it again with this new set.

When I restored my 89 Zilla I bought a complete set of maiers from ronnies. Well I guess it doesnt matter where you get them from, they all come from the same mold. Well anyway, they fit pretty good I must say, I didnt have any problems with them at all, I cant speak for other model atv's but from my experiance with the zilla they worked great.

I bought a complete kit for my Blaster. The holes where the hood met the tank were not drilled but that was cool with me. I fitted-um up and drilled my own holes. They fit perfect and I'm to blame
