Default changing the counter balance seal

just curious if anyone out there knows if you can change both the left an right side seal on the counter balancer on my 89 zilla?? is it possible changing with out splitting the case??

Yah, you do not have to split the cases, pull off both side covers, remove the clutch on the clutch side, and remove your flywheel on the stator side and you will be good to go, byt the way, I have oil seal kits available for your bike if you need it. Let me know.

ok so i can pull the counter balance haft out an chnge both seals an i wont have issues getting the shaft back in?? seems odd to me any input?? just wanna make sure before i go ahead an do this

Trust me bro, you have to pull off both side covers, pull your clutch assembly out of the one side, then pull your flywheel off the other and you will be good to go. I know the Zilla motor very well, worked on them for many years. And if you need an oil seal kit let me know.

it was leaking i belive from there so i just went ahead an changed all the crank an balancer seals make sure its good cause i just got this bike an wnna get it going an make sure it stays running........ im just having problems with the carb now
