87 versus 88-90 zilla

if you dyno a 87 versus 88-90 with the same set up which would have more hp do the 87 have more do to bigger reed cage and where do you get them updated 87 head studs can you put them in your self also what this o ring set up where do you get it

it would be close but in stock form you would probably s ee the later model lt500r 's make more power
due to the lack of intake velocity and lower crankcase pressure in comparison ,most people have this idea tha t they dyno at 50 some rear wheel hp which is not true its more like low 40's for stock lt500's

yep....not exactly mind-boggling power as far as the 500's go, the honda and kawi 500's blow them out of the water.

in my opinion, the 87 has the potential to make more power though with porting and the right setup...
