Quadzilla Update

He did an awesome job polishing the parts sucks the pictures look like shit, but take my word he does a great job and very reasonable prices. You have seen his prices on the billet so you should know it will be a good deal.

they do look good. i just started polishing my cr 250 cylinder last night. im really concidering just sending it off to be done with it. i dont mind some smaller parts but theres a lot of hard to get to spots on a cylinder that id rather not mess with. i think ill hit them up for a quote.

yeah, i polished my banshee clutch cover. it was a bitch. i prolly have like 6-7 hours in that thing to get it the way i wanted it to look. to get in all the hard to get places i used a dremel with a small polishing wheel. but the majority of it came from my bench grinder with a buffing wheel. its messy too. my cloths were covered in polishing compound and i was blowing black shit out of my nose for a cupple days. sometimes it worth letting someone else do your dirty work.

the actual polishing i enjoy. its just the wet sanding that i hate, especially when you gotta start with 400 grit cause the casting is so rough. speaking of polishing check out my forks in my garage. i spent 2 weeks on them.

I like doing things myself as much as the next guy but polishing is not one of them. getting the metal sanded smooth. Then the polishing compound flying around. Sucks to much of a pain to do yourself in my mind.

I just sent my Clutch cover for chrome.

I have decided That I am not going to do polished billet anymore. It is just to hard to keep shinny. I am all for chrome.
