K & N air filter no more.....

sssooo i was talking to my local parts unlimited dealer yesterday and he informed me that i can't get a k & N filter for my 87 cuz they don't make them anymore.........what is the next best thing if i can't find a used one.....i will prob have to rig one up i am thinking

you could use one of my airfilter adapters and run a k+n clamp on. the adapter fits inside the airbox, so you still retain your waterproofing.

Me and my dad both have the sb designs filter conversion kit and I would highly recomend it to everyone with a zilla. Such a better design and the craftsmanship is top notch. Shawn is also a great guy to deal with. Plus we have two 250Rs also so now we all run the same air filter which is nice.

how is that uni filter compared to a k&n???

K and n will give you the best air flow but the uni will keep the air cleaner. I live in the desert so I run uni.
