I use to have oil come out the exhaust port on my 87. I was never sure if it was oil from the premix or gearbox. I never fixed anything but leaned up the mix and it went away. I was lucky.

When it locked up was it from the broken piston skirt wedged in thr cylinder port or were the pieces down below the crank? If below the crank it is possible it broke the case under the crank where it rotates. It almost impossible to see without splitting the cases apart. This is a common problem when pieces get wedged under the crank.a way to determin this without splitting cases is pull top end off and have crank and piston exposed.drain the oil out of the engine and leave the oil plug out.make sure its completely drained. Now take a quart of oil and pour it into the engine at the crank and see if the oil starts coming out of the drain .If so the cases are cracked or broken if not then take a shop vac and clean the oil out of the crank assembly. My 87 engine did this when I broke a piston skirt I could not see the damage until I split the cases.Hopefully this is not what happened to yours but it is possible..Good luck
