Default Should I lower my quadzilla?

Well...my 500 sits real high but im debaiting on wether or not to lower it, the rear shock is set at its lowest position so would i have to buy another shock?? any input would help thanks guys,

here is a pic of how high it is so you can see what im talking about

Yes, you need to lower the rear down before you damage something. The drum in the cushion lever is not installed properly. You need to loosen the bolt that locks the drum & rotate it to the correct position.

ok i know what you are talking about with the bolt...and are you saying that the bolt is in the opposite direction it should be?

zilladude, i just took a look at it and the bolt is in right... it looks that way because of the angle of the picture, the picture also makes it look alot higher than it is

you have to rotate that middle part of the cushion lever where that bolt goes through.

Yes the shock cushion is installed wrong. Here's side pic of my zilla. When I rebuild my 500 I did the same thing. Installed it and noticed it didn't sit right so I had to loosen the bottom shock bolt and tap the cushion around. -Mark
