Engine Bolt Question

Hi thanks for all the advise
I have another question this time I have noticed a hole under the water pump cover with a thred in it( in the engine casing not the water pump housing) and was wondering if it should have a bolt in it> I have downloaded and looked through the workshop manual but it does not appear any where and all the shots of that area they either on the wrong angle or just out of view.

any help would be great

That sounds like the weep hole and if it is it should NOT have a bolt in it. If you could snap a pic of it that would certainly help. It isn't leaking anything out of it, is it?
