| Have you checked to see how well your impeller is spinning. Might be worth checking and replacing the bearing. There are larger radiators but you would have to make brakets. Like get the banshee aftermarket radiator and try to mount it up. It's probably just a matter of making some good mounts

| I will check the Impeller today. How much slackness can it have? Maybe i try the banshee aftermarket radiator for 300 bucks ![]()

| Well its like any bearing if there is up and down side to side play then you need a bearing but I would guess that if that was happening you would have a leak of oil or radiator fluid moving between cases. I would get it so you can see the impeller then kick over the motor to see how the impeller spins. I just don't know what all would make your zilla heat up like that. Have you put a good radiator fluid in it like engine ice or something? Also did you properly bleed the lines I can't remember how you do it on the Zilla but like the LT250 there is the little screw on the top that you just turn out and when the fluid comes out you close it up. Maybe someone else can think of something it's hard when your not looking at it.

| Oh if you get the banshee radiator hooked up let everyone know because I am sure there will be a lot of intrest by the zilla crowd

| I've never had an overheating problem with my Zilla. Check the water pump and bleed the system through the little bleeder screw by the spark plug. Also if everything else seems good, try replacing the radiator cap, it may be sticking open not leting the system build pressure and leaking all of your coolant bach to the overflow bottle.

| I'm thinking of trying the banshee radiator on my LT I think it woudl be sweet just curious if someone else has measured it up? They look pretty close to the same width and they both have mounts on each side and one on the top. I know the mounts on the top is different but I am sure something can be rigged up. I just started a thread about it so if anyone has any input let me know there. I am figuring if nobody has tried it I will be the brave sole since if it doesn't fit I can put it on my banshee. Also I have an LT250 and 500 to try it on.

| I've never had a banshee so.....whats the difference in putting the banshee's radiator on the LT500? What would be the benefit? |

| The Impeller works fine, but for security i will replace the bearing. I think the radiator cap is the fault, probably the spring is a little bit oversoft. I also will try out a cool-head. But which one should i use, a o-ring type or one that uses the stock gasket? Pro Design or PTR? Maybe i will find a Banshee radiator and adapt it to the Zilla.

| The o-ring type will increase your compression a tad since you wouldn't have to use that thick head gasket. I went with pro design. But since it hasn't been mentioned have you checked your oil? Is it milky? You might have a leaking bottom end gasket. -Mark
