| If it's just cracked you can probably get by with using an epoxy thats made for aluminum. Dont use JB Weld because it doesnt hold up to abuse very well. |

| I wouldnt trust any expoxy or anything because a water pump has to seal perfectly or else it wont pump right. Companys make them for the banshee for about 35$ billet in dennis kirk so maybe if you looked around you could find one.

| The gasket surface looked fine, the paint looked like it was 18yrs old. But then, it IS 18yrs old so I guess thats perfect for an 18yr old part. Not really being a smartass, but it IS a boneyard part. |

| Ok, that sounds decent enough. I was just wondering if there were any deep gouges from 18yrs of boot scuff or in my case rocks. I am going to look around to see if anyone sells a billet cover, but chances are I wont.

| i don't think you will find a billet cover for the 500. i've never seen one. if you do i bet you it would cost you up around $400. $35 don't sound that bad know huh!! and if you do find one post it i want to see it. |
