any info clutch basket

well as many now we are all waiting for hinson to produce the lt500 baskets is it realy worth it or would a stocker work how long would it take to get ether one anyone know

how old was your stock basket before it let go? like 10 years. i would get a stocker. unless your engine is highly modded.

she is only .80 over fmf pipes thats about it i thing the stocker is the call

Midwest Action Cycle (800-343-9065) had mine to my door in 6 days for $173 shipped (stock). If you want your clutch basket to last, even a Hinson, you need to use good quality springs. A loose or week clutch is what causes those grooves to form on the basket fingers. Add the fact that many people go beyond normal service limits on their discs and you end up needing the basket replaced. Taken care of, a stock basket will give you a long service life. Hell, it gave a minimum of 15 years already, right?

plus it comes with the gear already attached. aftermarket baskets don't come with a gear.

well talk to Jon at hinson today and got 5 weeks till shiped out so ill try to contact wade and see if he can change my order to a stocker 5 weeks is a long time

Flattrack will have it to your door in 10-15 weeks... Just kidding. Wouldn't that suck though.

Just imagine if shipping didn't evolve to what it is today and having to wait weeks just to have parts show up not to mention the factory time just to get parts built then shipped to the supplier then to your door. God this sport would be a bunch of guys standing in a basement drinking beer waiting for the delivery man to show up. Wait a minute nothing's changed has it.
