| It's a written testament that new quads suck so danged bad that they have to reprint 20yr old articles to keep people interested in the rag. |

| yep ,notice that in these old revamped archive articles skirt wheels has been putting out latley theres alot of discrepencys in them? like last months stating the she makes 48hp when its more like 37 and this month states the zilla weighs 18 more pounds than the she when its really only like 6 lbs. they also said the she isnt so great in corner handling, well it had J arms back then and thats why it sucked as bad as it did ,then of coarse they lie so bad too ,ill never forget when the 400ex first came out they said it will smoke a she the n the raperd was said to smoke yf426 dirtbikes and the z400 supposedly puts out 40rwhp to name just a few.im still happy to see the old articles though i think even they realize people are just tired of seeing the same damn bike(yfz450) on every damn page and advertisment ![]()

| Thanks for uploading this article. I'm gonna read it in a second. It sucks that the good old days of the heavy-weight quads are gone. This reminds me of the 60s and 70s when American muscle cars were the thing (not that I was old enough to really live this experience). Fire breathing, high torque, high horsepower brutes that would throw you back into the seats. Ahh the good old days. The government and the tree-humping hippies ruin everything!

| Ok, I'm confused. Did they reprint that in a recent issue of DW or is this from 20 yrs ago? I wish all the younger riders and especially the new 4 stroke guys would read that article. Funny thing is when I go riding there always some guy asking me "is that a 250?" I chuckle and say look at the size of the jug, you tell me. Then other people that I run into say that they've heard that stock zillas can run 100, 115, and one said 120 mph. lol. I just nod my head and agree with them. -Mark

| That is part reprint the first part is a new part of the article talking about doing the article 20 years ago. Then the rest is the old article of them testing it 20 years ago. Check out the riders clothing ..hahaha
