pwk 39 mm carb from twist to thumb wont start now

hey all! I have 87 zilla that has kiehin pwk 39mm on it.

It had a twist throttle on it. So I ordered a brand new stock thumb throttle and stock throttle cable.

I took off old throttle cable that was with the twist throttle and installed the new thumb throttle and new thumb throttle cable that would normally come with the stock mikuni carb.
I was hoping it would work with the kiehin. For what ever reason it will not start now. checked plug and am getting spark.

Any advice? Any body know where I can get a keihin pwk 39mm throttle cable. If the stock throttle cable doesnt work with this carb?

i'm pretty sure they make a cable just for that. from the thumb to the keihin. try motion pro.

Still no luck. They sent me one and it starts to idle up on its own so I think it is to long?

Does anybody have an extra one they are willing to sell?

firtst make sure the idle adjustment screw isnt in to far and holding the slide up. then if it still does it, it's running lean. could be an air leak or the pilot jet is to small.
