I am also in the market for a quadzilla and was wondering how easy it is to get parts for them and such. does the dealer still carry most factory parts or what. I was also told they tend to need alot of work to keep them running. I am coming from a background in four strokes so any info on it would be great.

Some parts for the 500 have been discontinued, but I have been able to get all the high wear/ failure prone parts that I have needed. The engines dont like to run on pump gas( they will detonate even with 93 octane fuel) The detonation is what kills these engines( loose main bearings are the first sign & should be fixed right away) There is a post on MacDizzy.com that has the complete fix for a reliable 70+ horse 500 motor.

the lt500 has 70+ horse? im tired of my dirt bike. i like it like on the dirt and stuff but im gona be spending my time mainly at the dunes. my dad has a predator and i like it but i want a 2-stroke quad but i dont want to lose the reliablility of my bike for a quad the you have to work on everytime you ride it. is the zilla really reliable?
