Are you currently running it on its last bore or are you prepping it for its last turn out? If its fresh on its last bore and you really like the jug have it nikasiled and not worry about boring it or getting another one.

FTZ made Zilla cylinders? Did they ever make them for the 250? And are the designed differently?

Oh OK. I didn't think FTZ made LT cylinders that's why I asked. If you can't save this cylinder you can buy a new one and have FTZ port it again. A new cylinder is definitely not cheap though!

i had my dirt bike sleeved instead of nickasil plating it nickasil is for racing your suposed to replace the the rings every 10 riding hours and the piston every 20 and it has to be re plated every rebuild. my sleeve can be bored 8 timesand it a litle it cheaper to sleevei just thought in the long run its better then nickasil

If they truely needed replating everytime there would be no advantage to the nikasil. Who told you that, the dealer.
