| If I were to paint the quad, I would purchase quality lacquer auto body paint and probably paint it myself. Im definitly not about to get a couple cans of paint and spray bomb it and then sell it.

| if you take your time and do i properly and do a good job i think a customer would rather have it painted then the old paint. i know when i go to buy a used bike i look at the spots of wear. like beside the footpegs if the paint is rubbed off then its been used a fair bit. little things like that. but i would defintly rather buy a bike thats freshly painted then one that old and and dirty dont you agree? so i think overall a bike collector or someone of that sort might say it ruins qaulity but for just riding it i thikn it would b e a good idea. on all my bikes ive painted the pipe right before i sell it and some people actually say look at how ncie the pipe is.

| Yea, Its getting painted regardless, whether its painted back to factory or to some other color scheme. Most of the LT's I have seen up for sale are all as close to factory as possible. That made me wonder if there was some reasoning behind that or if people were just to lazy to strip all the old paint and do it right. How do you think an LT500 would look with a Metalic Gunmetal frame and Black Engine (cases and cylinder) with gun metal accents (head and side covers)? Im not sure how its going to look, but I would really like to give the quad an updated look and remove the factory blue paint entirely.

| I would like to do either black or dark blue plastics... but for now they are going to stay yellow, but I am going to change the hood to black and also get black seat cover. I am trying to save for a truck, so spending money is pretty tight. So just incase the plastic remains stock, the color has to look good with the yellow.

| motokidd what are you outa your mind? .. "on all my bikes ive painted the pipe right before i sell it and some people actually say look at how ncie the pipe is." ..... you spray paint your exhaust pipes before you sell a bike or quad??? |

| go with a chromed frame, all dark charcoal mettallic plastics from www.plasticpalace.com/atvzilla, and a dark red chrome diopside hood, clear winner here no? |
