  2. Hi john, was wondering if you could steer us in the right direction with a hybrid project with a 1978 1/2 rm 250 powerplant, or if you know someone with some expert advice with the pros and cons of this motor.
  3. Thank you john I appreciate it!
  4. Im not sure, It is not straight up and down, its pitched at an angle, but maybe once the plug is installed all the way in it finishes centered with the bore.
What im looking for is to cut a groove inside the waterjacket and outside the waterjackets to install this oring kit made by prodesign for use on their cool head setups. I figure I can cut the same grooves into a stock lt500r head just like they are done on the Pro design Cool head and resolve some of the issues with headgasket failure, your headstuds should also help resolve the issue. Also the oring kits are about 20 dollars where the OEM head gaskets are around 50 so I could save money in the long run by going to the Oring head gaskets.

[quote]Hi Derick:I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be offensive. I do what I can to help educate young cycle fans. Please don't take offense from any of my comments. There is a lot of miss information out there. I may be able to help you on occasion. [quote]

    No thanks
  6. Lot's of questions,
Where is the sleeve coming from?
Is it a blank or does it have porting cut into it?
What is the year and size of the engine?
Are you sending a new piston set?
I may have some unique porting ideas.
It would be better if I cut the ports.
I know that I’m new to all of you younger people. The only thing different now is we need to be very careful with the skirt clearance of some of the new types of pistons (Cast or Forged). After we get through all of this, I’ll send you some numbers. Check out my album in a couple hours. You may be surprised.
