three wheelers cannot be operated by somone under 16 and they must posses a valid drivers licence. at least that is how i remember it..... i rode my "treewheeler" last year @ SLSD (Silver Lake Sand Dunes) so remember it this way....you MUST be an adult (Legaly, not moraly) to ride a trike. and furthermore you can ride almost anything (manmade or otherwise) as long as it passes tech inspection to include the following; spark arrestor (turbo charger is a valid spark arrestor),roll bar, helmet, ORV sticker, State park sticker, orange flag @10', seatbelts.
NO trailers (without permission) NO alcohol (unless your machine runs on it) No Glass containers
some popular mis-conceptions. you do not need D.O.T. anything (except helmet), unless its going to be on the road, full size Broncos and Blazers rear seat passengers need helmets unless there is a roll bar under the "topper" dodge ramchargers are exempt because roof is metal vs. fiberglass.
