i will never stay at the state park campground again either... one reason they got on my shit about talking to smk after 10pm.. then told us if we didn;t go to bed immediatly they can keep us ou of the dunes the following day... i asked how and they said this is state land and thats state land.. break rules here no ride there.. i said "well you'll never see me at this camground again..."

k back to val du.. the short time i was there i didnt like it.. i mean its cool to have a shower and a place to party but to many people for my taste..

land its getting cheap in michigan just look around for like a few acres in that area if you want somwhere to party.

People are drawn to Mears in the summer to show off their machines they have been working on all winter.
This group of people are more likely to pardy hardy, then their isnt a campground willing to cater to them....or us...

Nitrousbaby and I have an uncle with land up there on Fox road, just a few miles from the dunes. Maybe we can talk him into letting us all camp there for the August trip. No showers, but there is a porta pot. HAHA. The wife and I don't dig camping, so we will be stayin' in a hotel as usual I'm sure. And we also didn't care for Val Du Lakes either. Too many people and young kids there tryin' to nose in on some free beer. Maybe one of the local hotels will cut a deal for rooms if we all stay at the same one.
