i wouldn't do it your self. there is a sceince to it and if you screw it up, your buying new jugs. I would talk to denny (eviltwin) he does porting. he did mine and did an awsome job for a good price. send him a pm and he'll give you all the info you could ever need and more

In the basics its grinding away metal in the inside of the cylinders (jugs) so more air can flow into the combustion chamber, and i believe they change the port timing (angles at which the gases flow).

Yes you can do it yourself, but i dont think anyone would recommend it, as you can screw everything up and it takes a knowning of 2 stroke engine design to do it properly

PM EvilTwin, he has good prices and is well acclaimed on here

Yeah, don't do porting yourself, have it done, there are many places that do it like A&S and Tony Doukas racing and Duncan Racing, but Eviltwin seems to be a fine alternative, if I wouldn't have bought T-6's and felt like tearing my motor apart mid-season I'd send my jugs to him also, but it looks like only a flywheel, and make sure you buy pipes that do accomodate porting mods.
