| What is porting and how can i do it myself?? if not how much does it cost to have done? |

| In the basics its grinding away metal in the inside of the cylinders (jugs) so more air can flow into the combustion chamber, and i believe they change the port timing (angles at which the gases flow). Yes you can do it yourself, but i dont think anyone would recommend it, as you can screw everything up and it takes a knowning of 2 stroke engine design to do it properly PM EvilTwin, he has good prices and is well acclaimed on here

| Yeah, don't do porting yourself, have it done, there are many places that do it like A&S and Tony Doukas racing and Duncan Racing, but Eviltwin seems to be a fine alternative, if I wouldn't have bought T-6's and felt like tearing my motor apart mid-season I'd send my jugs to him also, but it looks like only a flywheel, and make sure you buy pipes that do accomodate porting mods. |
