well take a pipe wrench and torque them down one at at time, they are supposed to stay tight but iv noticed they never do, there is a deal that iv seen before that has an alen screw in them that you tighten down after you tighten the nut down to keep it on.

Loctite, permatex thread locker...make friends with either, then snug them down with a big industrial adjustable wrench or a pipewrench...

happened to my 06 shee too.

The manual says to do this (if i rememebr right)

looking at the axle from the back...

apply loctite on the axle threads so it doesnt come back loose

tighten the right nut up against the axle carrier semi tight
now tighten the left nut up to the right nut while holding the right nut in position

Draw a line across both nuts

hold the left nut and tighten the right one up against (loosening it in esence) up against the leftuntil there is 5mm worth of seperation between the lines you drew.

i used a huge set of channel locks and apipe wrench, have someone sit on the quad so it doesnt lift up
